Who we are and what we do.
With over 18 years’ experience, Rubberseal have become one of the country’s leading specialists in non-flame application, flat roofing, and waterproofing systems.
We pride ourselves largely on our innovative approach towards encouraging sustainable practices in the industry and our commitment to supplying quality roofing materials.
In addition to being the main UK importer and distributor of Firestone EPDM, now known as Elevate, and other cold-applied roofing and waterproofing solutions, our green roof system has been hailed upon as revolutionary thanks to its clever, modular tray design, saving time on installation while contributing to a greener planet.
We are continuously adapting and growing into changing times. In fact, amidst the COVID 19 global pandemic, Rubberseal have continued to soar, acclimatising to new restrictions while achieving a record-breaking 5 months! From superior products to inventive tools, our industry expertise has enabled us to forward think, bringing a unique liquid applicator to the UK and a completely self-adhesive felt system (designed in-house) to the year 2020.

David Stewart
Managing Director
About David
David Stewart founded Rubberseal 20 years ago, but his journey in the roofing industry began back in 1997. Starting as a cladding and roofline installer, he transitioned into flat roofing distribution in 2003, becoming a key distributor for Firestone Building Products in Northern UK. Fast forward to today, with Firestone’s rebrand to Elevate under Holcim, Rubberseal has grown into a leading UK partner, offering a comprehensive range of flat roofing solutions for both residential and commercial markets.
David’s passion for roofing is undeniable – from working on exceptional projects to witnessing the evolution of modern roofing systems. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, golfing, and watching F1.

Technical Director
About Craig
Craig plays a vital role in the company, providing expert guidance on product specifications and resolving technical challenges. He also leads product training at our Kilmarnock HQ and Walsall training centre, ensuring our customers and partners have the knowledge they need to succeed.
Having been with Rubberseal for 20 years, Craig’s favourite part of the job is helping others develop their skills and expanding their knowledge of our products and systems.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his children and metalworking, creating everything from functional builds to decorative pieces.

About Chris
With years of hands-on experience as a licensed Felt installer and Single-Ply Installer, Chris has built a strong foundation in the roofing industry. He has since honed his expertise in technical and sales management, bringing a wealth of knowledge to our team.
At Rubberseal, Chris works closely with our Managing Director and supports our BDMs in all aspects, from roof surveys and specifications to costings and contractor training. His role is essential in ensuring our contractors are fully trained in all Rubberseal systems, helping them deliver top-quality results.
For over seven years, Chris has thrived in his position, enjoying the opportunity to meet new clients and offer tailored solutions to their roofing challenges—balancing cost-efficiency with long-term warranties.
Outside of work, Chris is a keen traveller, recently married, and spends much of his free time enjoying his motorcycles and trikes.
