WRAPT is an advanced spray-applied liquid waterproofing system designed specifically for the refurbishment and long-term protection of metal and asbestos cement roofs. Developed as a modern alternative to traditional overcladding systems, WRAPT creates a seamless, reinforced waterproof membrane directly over the existing roof, extending service life while avoiding the cost and disruption of roof replacement.
The WRAPT system combines high-performance polyurethane and STPE membrane technologies with fibre reinforcement to form a flexible, fully bonded waterproof barrier that protects roof structures from water ingress, weathering, and environmental damage.
Applied by airless spray, roller, or brush, the system forms a continuous membrane without joints or laps, ensuring complete waterproofing even on complex roof profiles, penetrations, and difficult detailing areas.

1. WRAPT Wash – Surface Preparation & Cleaning
WRAPT Wash is a powerful, non-acidic roof cleaning solution used to prepare the substrate prior to coating application. It removes algae, lichen, dirt, and organic contamination, ensuring a clean surface for optimal adhesion of the WRAPT system.

The integrated fibre reinforcement increases mechanical strength while maintaining elasticity, helping the system withstand structural movement, thermal expansion, and mechanical stress.

WRAPT Base-270 is a high-solids elastomeric polyurethane waterproofing membrane that forms the primary waterproof barrier of the system.
Applied by airless spray, roller, or brush, it creates a seamless coating that bonds strongly to the substrate while remaining highly flexible.
Key characteristics include:
- Seamless liquid applied membrane
- Excellent adhesion to most construction substrates
- Resistant to standing water, frost, and weathering
- Elongation greater than 400%, allowing significant movement accommodation
- Service temperature range from -40°C to +66°C

WRAPT Base-40 is a high-strength, fast-curing hybrid urethane coating designed to act as a penetrating base layer where enhanced adhesion and effective substrate sealing are required. Its low viscosity enables it to penetrate deep into the substrate, forming a flexible membrane that strengthens the bond for subsequent WRAPT system layers.
Key characteristics include excellent adhesion, even on damp substrates, and a rapid curing time of approximately 60 minutes for initial set. It offers high flexibility with crack-bridging capability of ≥4 mm, along with strong resistance to water and vapour ingress. WRAPT Base-40 also provides a durable, UV-resistant finish, making it an ideal choice for summer applications where performance and efficiency are critical.
4. WRAPT Top-370 – Protective Waterproof Coating
WRAPT Top-370 provides the final protective waterproofing layer of the system.
This single-component elastomeric membrane uses advanced STPE technology to deliver outstanding resistance to weathering, UV exposure, and environmental conditions while maintaining flexibility and adhesion.

- Solvent-free and isocyanate-free formulation
- Superior UV and weather resistance

- Elongation greater than 250% for movement accommodation

5. WRAPT Glazecoat – Optional Transparent Protective Finish
WRAPT Glazecoat is an optional transparent aliphatic polyurethane topcoat designed to enhance durability, surface protection, and long-term performance.
It forms a continuous elastic waterproof membrane with excellent wear resistance and UV stability, while maintaining transparency where required.
