David Stewart founded Rubberseal 20 years ago, but his journey in the roofing industry began back in 1997. Starting as a cladding and roofline installer, he transitioned into flat roofing distribution in 2003, becoming a key distributor for Firestone Building Products in Northern UK. Fast forward to today, with Firestone’s rebrand to Elevate under Holcim, Rubberseal has grown into a leading UK partner, offering a comprehensive range of flat roofing solutions for both residential and commercial markets.
David’s passion for roofing is undeniable – from working on exceptional projects to witnessing the evolution of modern roofing systems. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, golfing, and watching F1.

About Craig
Craig plays a vital role in the company, providing expert guidance on product specifications and resolving technical challenges. He also leads product training at our Kilmarnock HQ and Walsall training centre, ensuring our customers and partners have the knowledge they need to succeed.
Having been with Rubberseal for 20 years, Craig’s favourite part of the job is helping others develop their skills and expanding their knowledge of our products and systems.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his children and metalworking, creating everything from functional builds to decorative pieces.

About Chris
With years of hands-on experience as a licensed Felt installer and Single-Ply Installer, Chris has built a strong foundation in the roofing industry. He has since honed his expertise in technical and sales management, bringing a wealth of knowledge to our team.
At Rubberseal, Chris works closely with our Managing Director and supports our BDMs in all aspects, from roof surveys and specifications to costings and contractor training. His role is essential in ensuring our contractors are fully trained in all Rubberseal systems, helping them deliver top-quality results.
For over seven years, Chris has thrived in his position, enjoying the opportunity to meet new clients and offer tailored solutions to their roofing challenges—balancing cost-efficiency with long-term warranties.
Outside of work, Chris is a keen traveller, recently married, and spends much of his free time enjoying his motorcycles and trikes.

About Chloe
As one of Rubberseal’s Business Development Managers, Chloe travels across Scotland, building strong client relationships and exploring new business opportunities in the commercial and residential flat roofing sector.
While securing the best deals for her clients is a key part of her role, what she enjoys most is getting to know them—often over coffee and cake!
Chloe specialises in EPDM and liquid roofing systems, but her personal favourite is our modular green roof—not just for its functionality, but because it looks great too!
Outside of work, she enjoys interior decorating, traveling abroad, and brunching with family and friends.

Business Development Manager
About Becky
Becky Williams, our Business Development Manager supporting Builders Merchants across the Midlands! Becky plays a key role in driving sales growth, collaborating with merchants to supply premium roofing materials such as Elevate RubberCover, Rubberseal ProVap, and Peel & Seal. Her focus is on building strong partnerships, helping merchants maximise their sales potential and expand their product offering.
Since joining Rubberseal, Becky has embraced the challenge of learning the roofing industry from the ground up, with the support and encouragement of her colleagues and clients. Her proactive approach to sales development and dedication to helping merchants has been instrumental in boosting business growth across the region.
Becky works closely with merchants to provide roofing equipment advice, product demonstrations, and stock management—ensuring they have the right materials at the right time. She particularly enjoys building relationships with contractors and merchants, whether through planned demo days or unexpected pop-ins.
Outside of work, Becky loves spending quality time with her family, playing with her cat, and enjoying plenty of iced coffee!

Neil Curley
Business Development Manager
About Neil
With over 35 years in sales, including 30+ years in the construction industry, Neil brings a wealth of experience to Rubberseal. Specialising in flat roofing, he has worked extensively with liquid systems, single-ply, and EPDM, engaging with architects, main contractors, councils, and roofing contractors.
While he has held management roles, Neil thrives in a front-facing sales position, building strong relationships and getting hands-on when needed. Whether he’s presenting CPDs or rolling up his sleeves to assist on-site, his problem-solving approach and diverse skill set make him a valued industry expert.
Neil has been involved in award-winning roofing projects, including NFRC Roof of the Year awards, and holds a drone license, allowing him to take an innovative approach to site assessments.
At Rubberseal, Neil works closely with the entire team, bringing his go-to attitude, industry knowledge, and dynamic problem-solving skills to every project.
Outside of work, Neil has recently remarried and loves to travel, often spending time in Latvia. In the warmer months, you’ll find him on the water, paddleboarding and kayaking. He’s also a passionate cook, especially when it comes to BBQ and smoking meats—even in the snow!

About Katharine
Since joining Rubberseal nine months ago, Katharine Parkin has played a vital role in driving sales and business growth across digital platforms. She supports our sales team, clients, and builders’ merchants by enhancing brand awareness, building online relationships, and ensuring our Business Development Managers have everything they need—from brochures and product samples to marketing materials that showcase our industry-leading waterproofing solutions.
Katharine is responsible for website management, digital marketing, and content creation, ensuring our online presence reflects our expertise in flat roofing, waterproofing, and commercial roofing solutions. She also oversees artwork, literature, and promotional materials, including brochures, website content, and other key marketing assets.
In addition, Katharine manages stand design and promotion for construction exhibitions, ensuring Rubberseal makes a strong impact at industry events. She also collaborates with our clients to help promote our comprehensive range of roofing systems, supporting their projects with expert marketing solutions.
With a strong background in roofing marketing, particularly in the EPDM sector, Katharine was eager to expand her knowledge into single-ply, liquid roofing, and green roofing systems along with other BBA Certified systems.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, gardening, painting, and being creative, as well as spending quality time with her little boy and family.

About Leeanne
As Head of our Accounts Department, Leeanne Ruddock plays an important role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of Rubberseal Ltd. With six years of experience in accounting, she joined the roofing industry in June 2024 and has quickly adapted her skills to meet the needs of our contractors, suppliers, staff, and customers.
Leeanne oversees accounts payable, receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring seamless cash flow management and project coordination. Her attention to detail and commitment to efficiency help maintain strong relationships with both customers and vendors. She is also pursuing her ACCA qualification, which we fully support as part of her professional growth.
Before joining Rubberseal, Leeanne worked in accounting practice, where she developed expertise in financial processing, compliance, and government regulations. Her strategic approach contributes to the company’s ongoing success.
Beyond the numbers, Leeanne is dedicated to exceptional customer service, assisting clients with billing inquiries and streamlining financial processes. She prides herself on being approachable and reliable, allowing the rest of the team to focus on delivering quality roofing solutions.
Outside of work, she enjoys decorating events, running a small family business specializing in birthdays and weddings.
