The Existing Roof Build-Up
The original roof construction consisted of:
- Mineral felt waterproofing
- 50mm PUR insulation
- Vapour control layer (VCL)
- Metal and timber deck substrates
After years of service, the mineral felt system had deteriorated, allowing water ingress and increasing maintenance requirements.
